『Tour de DMZ 2023 국제자전거대회』 참가를 환영합니다.

안녕하십니까? 행정안전부 장관 이상민입니다.

󰡔Tour de DMZ 2023 국제자전거대회󰡕 홈페이지를 방문해 주셔서 감사드립니다.

올해로 6회째인 󰡔Tour de DMZ 2023 국제자전거대회』는 한국전쟁 정전 70주년을 맞아 비무장지대(DMZ)와 접경지역을 배경으로 9월 1일부터 5일간 펼쳐집니다.

‘DMZ, 70년의 경계를 넘어 미래로!’ 라는 주제로 한반도를 넘어 세계의 자유와 번영, 그리고 미래를 향한 희망을 담아 개최합니다.

이번 대회는 국제사이클연맹(UCI) 공인대회인 ‘국제청소년 도로사이클대회’와 국내 일반인 선수와 동호인들이 참여하는 ‘마스터즈 대회’, 부대행사인 ‘전국BMX대회(인천시 강화군)’와 ‘자전거투어(강원도 인제군)’로 구성되어 있습니다.

대한민국의 서해의 끝 ‘강화’에서 동해의 끝 ‘고성’까지 세계 청년들의 질주를 통해 도전과 열정, 희망과 감동을 느끼실 수 있을 것입니다.

A Celebration of Challenges and Passions for the Future of Youth around the World
Welcome to Tour de DMZ 2023!

Hello!

I am Lee Sang-min, Minister of the Interior and Safety.

Thank you for visiting the Tour de DMZ 2023 International Road Cycling Tour website.

The sixth edition of the Tour de DMZ International Road Cycling Tour will be held from September 1 to 5 against the backdrop of the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) and the inter-Korean border area to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Korean War Armistice.

With the theme, “70 years of DMZ, Beyond the Border into the Future!” this year's event will look beyond the Korean Peninsula to the freedom, prosperity, and hope for the future of the world.

The Tour de DMZ 2023 consists of the Men Junior Nations Cup accredited by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), the Masters Cycling Tour for domestic athletes and enthusiasts, and two side events: a Tour de DMZ 2023 BMX Racing National Championship (Ganghwa-gun, Incheon-si) and a Tour de DMZ 2023 Inje Cycling Tour (Inje-gun, Gangwon-do).

From Ganghwa on the west coast end of Korea to Goseong on the east coast, you will be challenged, enthusiastic, hopeful, and inspired by the world youth’s racing along the DMZ.

I will further try to establish the Tour de DMZ International Road Cycling Tour as a global festival where all of our dreams come true.
